Frequently Asked Question

We are happy to accommodate extra nights at the host hotel. The cost is listed in the pricing section of the tour webpage. It is always based on availability at the hotel, but we have never not been able to reserve an extra night. As soon as you know what nights you want, email extranights@likemindstravel.com and we will reach out ONLY if we can not get the extra night reservation. The extra night cost will be added to your final invoice. 

That's OK! We don't either. In most cases, it is not necessary to speak the local language as English is spoken frequently around the world. With that said learning a few polite words is easy to do and the effort is appreciated by the locals! Merci!

We get it- life happens! If you need to cancel your tour, email Laura at laurahart@likemindstravel.com. Please understand that all cancellation penalties will be applied. Refer to the pricing section on the tours webpage to review the cancellation penalties. 

We do not book airfare and it is not included in the tour price. This is because all guests are departing from many different airports from around the world. We are always happy to answer airline questions and point you in the right direction- just reach out!

Absolutely! In fact- most of our travelers are solo travelers and they end the tour with a pack of new friends. It is common for past travelers to meet up in various cities to attend museum exhibitions, sing alongs, or just for fun! And no- you don't have to share a room!

Nope! All of our tours have to option of a single room. We have a chat group for every tour and if you want a roommate you can usually find one in the chat.

We do not pair solo travelers automatically. Each tour has a chat group and you can find a roommate most of the time, but we do not pair roommates.

Your final payment is due 60 days before the first day of the tour. Like Minds Travel will send an invoice through Square merchant processors by email 90 days before the tour. It is a secure link that you can pay by credit card. If you need alternate arrangements reach out to Laura Hart, laurahart@likemindstravel.com. We are always able to arrange payments by check, money order, or bank transfers.

At this time we do not. We are willing to break the payment into smaller payments if that is helpful. Please reach out to Laura Hart, laurahart@likemindstravel.com to discuss your situation. 

Whatever you are most comfortable in! We do a lot of walking, so great walking shoes are a must, but other than that there is no dress code. If your tour has a dinner cruise or a theater performance the dress code is business casual. If there are situations that require more elevated dress standards then Like Minds Travel will make you aware before travel.
