Start your day with breakfast in the hotel restaurant before joining the group for an inspiring day ahead. We kick things off with a guided “Women in the Revolution” tour at the Museum of the American Revolution, diving deep into the stories of women who shaped history. Afterward, we enjoy a delightful catered lunch right at the museum. In the afternoon, local guides will lead us on a walking tour showcasing the remarkable achievements of Philadelphia’s women. The evening is yours to explore the city at your leisure.
Today, we honor the legacy of Women’s Suffrage. Our journey begins at Alice Paul’s historic New Jersey home, where a guided tour immerses us in her pivotal role in the passage of the 19th Amendment. From there, we continue to the National Constitution Center for a self-guided exploration, including their powerful exhibit on the 19th Amendment.
The day begins with a guided tour of historic Valley Forge, where we’ll explore the winter encampment that shaped the Revolutionary War and the lives of those who endured it. In the afternoon, enjoy free time back in Philadelphia—a perfect opportunity to visit iconic sites like Independence Hall at your own pace. We’ll come together in the evening for a memorable farewell event at the Betsy Ross House, complete with dinner, dancing, and drinks. Joining us will be local fans of The History Chicks, and you might even have the chance to meet Betsy herself!
