Day One: Welcome to Paris
Enchanté and welcome to Paris! Make your way to our charming hotel and settle in. This evening gather at the hotel to meet your fellow travelers over aperitifs- happy hour the French way! Watch the iconic monuments of the grand city light up the night sky on our post- cocktail double decker bus tour.
Day Two: Women of Paris
Today we're following in the footsteps of one remarkable woman: Empress Eugénie. We'll start with our Women of Paris walking tour, tracing the stories of the city's most fascinating figures, before settling in for a champagne lunch at Café de la Paix—the storied café Eugénie herself frequented, right beside the opera house she commissioned. Then it's onward to the Palais Garnier itself, where we'll go behind the velvet curtain on a private backstage tour of the opera house Eugénie brought to life. It's a day of empresses, elegance, and everything in between!
Day Three: Sweet and Savory Paris
Channel your inner Julia Child as we head to Le Cordon Bleu—the very culinary school where she trained—for a hands-on macaron-making class. Once you’ve mastered the perfect shell and filling (and sampled a few “quality control” tastes along the way), we’ll trade our aprons for wine glasses and settle in for a gourmet wine and cheese tasting with the charming André and Aurélien from We Taste Paris. It’s a day made for anyone who’s ever dreamed of eating their way through the City of Light!
Day Four: Champagne Country
Today we trade the streets of Paris for the rolling vineyards of Champagne, starting with a visit to the majestic Notre Dame de Reims. This isn’t just any cathedral—it’s where Joan of Arc stood as Charles VII was crowned king, and where generations of French royalty received their own coronations. From there, we’ll head to the vineyards of Veuve Clicquot, home of the legendary Widow Clicquot for a cellar tour tracing her rise from young widow to champagne empire builder, followed by a beautiful four-course lunch complete with many varieties champagne, of course. Santé!
Day Five: Empresses and Queens
We begin the day at Malmaison, the beloved home of Empress Joséphine Bonaparte, before making our way to the legendary gardens of Versailles—including Marie Antoinette’s storied Queen’s Hamlet. But the real magic happens as the sun sets: while the day’s crowds head for the exits, we go in. This private, after-hours tour of Versailles is very special and very rare—picture having the Hall of Mirrors entirely to yourself. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime evening fit for royalty.
Day Six: Artists and Royalty
Today we visit the home and studio of Rosa Bonheur, one of the most celebrated female painters of her time, for a guided tour followed by a beautiful French lunch amid her artistic legacy. From there, we journey to the Château de Fontainebleau, a palace that has welcomed queens and empresses across the centuries—from Catherine de’ Medici and Marie de’ Medici to Marie Antoinette and Empress Joséphine. Steeped in eight centuries of royal history, Fontainebleau is a fitting finale to a day devoted to remarkable women.
Day Seven: Women in Art
We start the morning with a guided “Women in Art” tour of the Musée d’Orsay, spotlighting the female artists and subjects often overlooked in the traditional art history narrative. From there, we head up to the winding streets of Montmartre for a visit to the Musée de Montmartre, once home to painter Suzanne Valadon, before setting you loose with free time to wander this iconic, bohemian neighborhood at your own pace.
Day Eight: Cemetary and the Seine
Our final full day begins with a guided tour of Père Lachaise Cemetery, the resting place of countless notable figures whose stories have shaped history. From there, you’re free for the afternoon to check off whatever’s left on your Parisian bucket list—one last café, one last museum, one last stroll. Then we’ll gather for our farewell dinner cruise, sailing the Seine aboard our own private boat for an evening of dinner and dancing as the City of Light glows around us.
Day Nine: Au revoir
Today we say au revoir to Paris and head home. Safe travels!
Tour Package Price:
The package price for a single room is $6,125 per person. The package price for a shared room is $5,050 per person. A $1,000 deposit is required at the time of registration and is non-refundable. The final balance will be due on February 24, 2027 and will be paid by invoice to Like Minds Travel and is non-refundable at that time. Like Minds Travel recommends travel insurance, but does not have an affiliation with any insurance company at this time. Many clients have used Allianz and filed claims successfully.
If you are registering with a roommate, but want to be billed separately, fill out the form individually and place each others name in the space indicated. You will be paired in the same room. Like Minds Travel does not pair solo travelers with a roommate.
Extra night are available at the host hotel. The cost for a single room is $315 and double is $335. Email extranights@likemindstravel.com and state your desired dates and what tour you are on in the email. Like Minds Travel will add the nights to your final invoice.
Airfare and airport transfers are not included in the package price. Like Minds Travel recommends flying into Charles de Gaulle (CDG).
This tour is for guests 18 and older and requires a lot of walking and stairs. Group size is capped at 45 people.
