The stars have aligned for an immersive Astrology Retreat with celebrity astrologer, author, and host, Aliza Kelly! Aliza’s latest in-person retreat takes place in Windham, New York, nestled in the Catskills Mountains — just a couple hours north of New York City.  

Our home base is Eastwind Windham Hotel — a Scandinavian-inspired boutique property tucked away in the mystical forests of upstate New York. Blending an immersive outdoor experience with modern comforts, each guest room is a tranquil respite, with cozy yet elegant details and dazzling scenic views. Dining will be offered on-site at the Bunkhouse Lounge, providing guests with seasonal cuisine and hand-crafted cocktails that complement the sensuous surrounding area. 

We’ve reserved the entire hotel to host the retreat, providing Aliza’s guests with an intimate, exclusive experience. Together, we’ll explore the mystical mountain landscape, connect over delicious meals, strengthen community bonds, and learn about astrology and mysticism through Aliza’s hands-on teaching.

Each day of the retreat is thoughtfully curated to invite guests to disconnect from their everyday experiences in order to discover a deeper sense of reverence for and collaboration with the natural world — and the divine, energetic experiences woven throughout it. Aliza will teach retreat goers how to forge deep connections with the four core elements — Fire, Earth, Air, and Water — through both a material and mystical lens. Using astrological teachings, tarot cards, iconography, spell-work, and our five (well, six!) senses, Aliza’s guidance will deepen your relationship to the divine. Throughout the retreat, we’ll collect dynamic sensory experiences and build our mystical knowledge to prepare for a powerful in-person Coven Meeting that will amplify our collective magick. 

This experience is meant to strip away the stimuli of regular life — responsibilities, to-do lists, social pressures — in order to forge profound connections between the individual, the collective, the natural world, and the universal force that unites us all. Whether you’re a professional witch or just beginning your mystical journey, this dynamic retreat — combining the micro and the macro, the physical and spiritual — will spark personal transformation, forge life-long friendships, and enhance your knowledge of astrology and mysticism.

Plus! This retreat includes a very special workshop from guest lecturer Veronica Varlow. Veronica is a powerful Love Witch, prolific practitioner, and the author of the bestselling book Bohemian Magick, a grimoire of spells and charms.

Day One: Welcome to the Catskills! Check in to the cozy Eastwind Windham Hotel, settle into your room, and explore the property before meeting Aliza and fellow retreat goers at a delicious dinner. There, Aliza will introduce the weekend’s programming and facilitate a welcome ritual where we’ll set our mystical intentions for the weekend ahead. Afterwards, you’re free to retreat to your cabin or continue socializing at the hotel lounge. 

Day Two: Good morning, stargazers! Rise and shine to enjoy a fresh breakfast made from seasonal ingredients. The resort is equipped to accommodate any dietary requests, so there will surely be something for everyone. 

After breakfast, we’ll gather for a sound bath and guided meditation led by Aliza and her husband, Luke. Using the insights gleaned from this immersive experience, we’ll transition into our first workshop guided by Aliza. She’ll teach us about her unique perspective on the elements (Fire, Earth, Air, Water), synthesizing astrological knowledge, traditional witchcraft, and her personal practice.  

We’ll then break for a delicious, hearty lunch. Following lunch, you’ll have free time to find a quiet spot to journal, relax with your new friends on hammocks, or go for a little adventure on one of the hotel’s bikes! We will reconvene in the evening for dinner under the stars at the hotel’s patio area. 

Day Three: Our day begins with another delicious breakfast, followed by an invigorating sound bath and meditation on the lawn. After that, we’ll connect with the incredible Love Witch, Veronica Varlow, for a bespoke workshop to expand our understanding of spellwork and our own personal powers.

Building on Veronica’s mystical insights, we’ll take to the nearby trails to explore the magick of nature. We’ll have our lunch among the trees, and Aliza will guide us through special exercises to identify the mystical messages embedded within our physical surroundings. With fairies, ferns, and feathered friends as our guide, we’ll continue connecting with our deep, innate wild.

We’ll then return to Windham for some rest and relaxation. After the break, we’ll begin preparing for the main event: an in-person Coven Meeting and powerful community reflection. Following a quick break to change into your witchy best, we’ll gather under the stars in our sacred circle, amplifying our manifestations across all dimensions with our magick reverberating through the night. Following the festivities, we’ll enjoy a final dinner and celebratory toast at the Bunkhouse Lounge.

Day Four: After an extraordinary experience, it’s time to say goodbye. Enjoy one more delicious breakfast before checking out of the hotel. Astrology reminds us that we are the masters of our own destinies. And now — illuminated and transformed — we can infuse the magick of the retreat into our realities. Although this journey has come to a close, our new relationships, with the stars and each other, is just beginning.
