Welcome to New York! Settle into our host hotel, perfectly situated in the heart of the Theater District. Take a moment to relax before the excitement begins.
In the evening, join David Armstrong, Broadway industry professionals, and your fellow travelers at Broadway Blue Room—a posh cocktail lounge designed by Broadway’s David Rockwell and Rachel Hauck, filled with captivating Broadway memorabilia. We’ll kick off our Broadway weekend with handcrafted cocktails and appetizers before enjoying a delightful welcome dinner, where you can connect with like-minded theater lovers and dive into all things Broadway!
Today, we venture to the Lower East Side to uncover the roots of some of Broadway’s most legendary writers and performers. Our journey begins with a guided tour of The Tenement Museum, offering a glimpse into the lives of the immigrants who helped shape New York’s theatrical legacy. Then, we’ll dive even deeper into the neighborhood’s history with a Bowery Boys Walks tour, exploring the streets that nurtured Broadway’s greatest stars.
In the afternoon, we’ll gather for afternoon tea at the iconic Russian Tea Room, a storied venue with its own deep ties to Broadway’s past. After our fill of caviar and scones we head to the theater district for our first Broadway show!
Discover one of New York’s newest must-visit attractions—The Museum of Broadway, recently named one of the top ten culture museums by USA Today! This dynamic, immersive experience showcases legendary stories, iconic props, and plenty of photo-worthy moments. Before our visit, we’ll have an exclusive discussion with curator Ben West, giving you the chance to ask any burning questions.
Spend the morning exploring the museum’s vibrant exhibits before heading to a Broadway matinee. After the show, enjoy light snacks as we experience the storytelling magic of David Armstrong at a live taping of Broadway Nation—and since we’re in New York, you never know who might drop by! We’ll cap off this unforgettable theater-filled day with our third Broadway show, making it a night to remember.
Today, we go behind the curtain for an exclusive backstage tour of a historic Broadway theater. You’ve experienced the magic from the audience—now see what happens behind the scenes!
Next, we’ll uncover the secrets and stories of the Theater District on a guided walking tour, filled with legendary tales and hidden Broadway history. Then, it’s time for our fourth Broadway show, another unforgettable performance to add to our collection.
To close out this incredible adventure, we’ll gather for a farewell dinner, sharing memories, laughter, and one final toast to an unforgettable Broadway experience!
Savor one last New York City breakfast before checking out of the hotel. Safe travels!
**Note: The four musicals will be selected by David after the Tony Awards and the fall season schedule of new shows has been announced.
